Sir Ben's is a busy neighborhood pub on Lake Superior. We serve food, pour drinks, host live music, and see a pretty steady mix of regulars, tourists, musicians, families, and everyone in between.
We believe in working hard and as a team to keep things moving, and try not to take ourselves too seriously.

Our front of house crew works together to keep the whole place moving. There aren't separate server and bartender roles here — everyone pitches in with running the register, serving the bar, running food, bussing tables, and whatever else needs to get done.

Our kitchen keeps the whole thing moving.
We hire prep cooks, line cooks, and dishwashers, with opportunities to cross-train between prep and line. Kitchen experience is preferred, but we're looking for people who are willing to learn, work hard, and be part of the team.
Shared tips
Tips are split across the whole crew.
Monday – Saturday
We're open Monday through Saturday, so shifts can include days, nights, and weekends.
Paid holidays
We're closed Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. If one lands on a day we're normally open, all employees receive 8 hours of their hourly rate.
